Italy 2016

After the first day of school, to be honest, I really just want to be back in Italy.

This is probably the longest travel post you will ever encounter.

Love,

    1. It was beautiful and we walked and ate a lot, and the fact that it was a school trip made it one I will most definitely remember forever. Italy is such an old country and I think everyone should go there.

  2. Wow... I'm actually quite jealous of you for going to italy. It has always been one of the many places I have wanted to visit as it is one on my ambitions to go and see all the sights and taste the food that they make.

Honestly having a look through all of this has made me want to go more and experience the Italian life. After all I am part Italian myself.

    Great post.

    1. THE FOOD is definitely reason enough to go. The sites are full-on amazing too. As a part Italian, I think you need to go to your country, if only to create a wider sense of identity for yourself.

I'm at a loss for words as to how jealous I am.

  4. Oh my wordy M this is beautiful!! :-) Seriously inspired me to glue in photos as I go around and collect as many as I can. It's so incredible you went to Italy! Now this year for uni we have the choice to go to either Rome or Greece for 5 weeks over summer here in Aus so winter there. I'm leaning towards Rome... this has made me so excited :-D

    1. Hahah trust me - the whole gluing in photos thing took a lot of effort and I almost gave up so many times. It was worth the finished product though. I went in the summer here as well, which means it was Winter there, which also means it's less crowded and you get to wear some classy Winter fashion. Summer in Australia is a good time to go.

  7. I absolutely loved this post!

I really like your journal. Did you write on it while traveling? Or did you do it once back at home?
I'm going to Spain in april and I'm planning to keep a traveling journal, too!

I loved the pictures, you took so many! And they're good quality pictures, for what I can see :)

Thank you for sharing your traveling experience!

    1. I wrote while travelling but left space for photos later, and I reckon I left a little too much to be honest. I did take a lot though. Good luck with your travel journal in Spain and thanks so much for looking at mine!

  9. I love your travel journal. You write them all on the go? You were even adding the playlist and Daddy's Poem? Haha. It's fun to read--despite your writing was a thing or two uncleary-readable hehe

  10. THIS. IS. SO. ADORABLE. I love it! You've definitely inspired me to start my own travel journal for my future travels. <3

How did you print the pictures while you were traveling? XD This is such a great way to keep track of all your memories.

(Btw, for some reason the follower button won't let me follow...Strange...)

    1. Thanks Jenny! I did the photos when I got back, and actually finishing it took a lot of perseverance and dedication, surprisingly. I think you can follow by adding my link to your blogger dashboard because that's what I normally do.

  11. Such a great memory book! I took a ten-day trip to Rome with my husband in October and never even printed out any photos after coming back! You have inspired me to print out some of the best and put them in an album!

    1. Ah I love looking through old photos, but I'm always afraid that I'm taking way too many rather than living in the moment. It would be tragic not to have any photos though. Definitely make an album. How beautiful is Rome!?

    1. Oh no! I can't believe you lost it because I know just as well as you how difficult it was to create this journal in the first place. I hope you find that French travel journal!
